in the Western Canadian Music Awards Jazz Showcase WINNIPEG, MB.

Once again, local jazz singer Jodie Borlé will be the only
Manitoban to perform at the Jazz Showcase at this year's Western
Canadian Music Awards to be held September 30th - October 3rd in
Calgary, Alberta.
This event will allow Jodie the opportunity to
meet music industry professionals and artists from Canada and around
the world, as well as showcase music from her upcoming album.
In
addition to the Jazz Showcase, the Western Canadian Music Festival
features artists from music styles such as hip hop, blues, rock,
country and more. The event presents an opportunity for A/R reps,
distributors, buyers and agents to explore the musical talent in
Western Canada.
Jodie will be performing at Calgary's Beat Niq Jazz & Social
Club Friday October 1st at 10 PM as well as making an appearance
on A-Channel Calgary's "Wired" - Wednesday September 29th.
Jodie
Borlé makes jazz accessible to music lovers of all genres.
Her current project "and then I did..." is a celebration of Canadian
Music by Canadian Songwriters - with a twist. Her first single "Round" has
been receiving daily airplay on COOL FM Radio; the album will be
in stores this December.
