Jodie Borlé, the Canadian Jazz Musician, transcends the traditional boundaries of jazz...

Borlé is a sultry ingénue, whose vocal talent will make her the next breakout jazz artist, is launching her first CD. Her 2005 project "and then I did..." is a true labor of love, an intimate exploration of her own distinct style, a fusion of traditional jazz and the funky side of pop. Jodie takes this genre to another level.

This Project Cool finalist, who has participated on the Canadian Jazz Festival circuit for the past five years, has already made her presence known across the Prairies through her critically acclaimed performances as a solo artist.  She has the honor of being the only Manitoba jazz artist to have showcased at the Western Canadian Music Awards two years running.

On the strength of her first single "Round", Jodie has received an unprecedented amount of airplay for an independent artist. Heard daily on COOL FM, Jodie continues to receive praise from the media and her peers whenever she takes the stage.  Often compared to Ella Fitzgerald, Borlé reaches into the depths of the listener's heart and brings them to a revelation all their own.
